Matriculation Issue Brief

For students who aspire to attend a 4-year or 2-year institution, one critical measure of success is timely matriculation, defined as enrollment into a 4-year or 2-year institution within one year of high school graduation. This brief explores data from six RISE partner schools which demonstrates that students ending their senior year with a plan to attend a 2-year institution matriculate at a lower rate than students planning to attend a 4-year institution.

Student Belonging Concept Paper

RISE offers this concept paper to educators, policymakers, and community members grappling with the challenges of chronic absenteeism, disconnection, and mental health concerns, and to shed light on the importance of belonging and provide resources for improving it.
