The RISE Educator Innovation Fund empowers educators to pinpoint needs, pilot ideas, and pursue promising practices to support their students. Through a partnership with DonorsChoose.org, RISE educators are able to secure the resources they need to realize new and creative ways for helping students stay engaged and be successful in school. Each project posted by an educator from a RISE partner school earns a one-to-one donation match from the RISE Educator Innovation Fund and Dalio Philanthropies, allowing the educator to earn full funding for their ideas in half the time.
With the help of the Innovation Fund, RISE educators raised roughly $235,000 during the 2018-19 school year alone to fund innovative projects to advance our shared goals for on-track achievement and college and career readiness. The graph shows the impressive growth in engagement in the Innovation Fund since its launch in fall 2016.
